Cosmetic Acupuncture, also referred to as facial acupuncture, is an effective non-invasive alternative to botox or plastic surgery. Similar to traditional acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into different areas of the body. However, the needling technique used in cosmetic acupuncture is a more superficial technique that reduces inflammation and increases Qi and blood flow in the face, which helps in the production of collagen and elastin.
