MEET SARAH
Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a board certified acupuncturist in Minnesota. My journey with acupuncture began during my undergraduate years when I was faced with numerous health challenges and, after looking for a solution, discovered an acupuncturist who changed my life. This motivated me to pursue a master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and provide the hope for others that this acupuncturist provided for me all those years ago.
Beyond my masters degree, I am a certified acupuncturist through the NCCAOM, a diplomate of acupuncture, an Usui reiki master, and certified in cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling. I also utilize additional Chinese medicine techniques such as fire cupping, gua sha, moxibustion and more.

My philosophy centers around being a support system for any individual who is looking for a more holistic approach to medicine and working together to get you back to feeling your best.
MY STORY
Growing up, I was always a relatively healthy kid. I would take some pain medication for a headache once a year or drink the dreaded cherry flavored cough medicine during flu season and that was it. However, the trajectory of my health took a sharp turn during my sophomore year of college. A diagnosis of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and a lack of understanding of the condition led to a series of unfortunate reactions to the prescribed medications. With each new medication, I developed a new set of side effects, leading me from one doctor to another in search of relief. After a year of this cycle, I turned to acupuncture as a last resort, thinking, "What did I have to lose?" After just one session, I experienced the best night's sleep I'd had in months, and within a year, I was off all of the medications I had been put on.
This transformative experience fueled my desire to do what that acupuncturist had done for me for other people. Following my graduation, I made the decision to enroll in a master's program for traditional Chinese Medicine. My educational journey profoundly influenced my belief system, shaping my commitment to promoting holistic well-being. I realized that the mind and body are deeply interconnected, and the key to true wellness lies in addressing physical, mental, and emotional symptoms together rather than separating them. I began to utilize the principles of acupuncture and other therapies to help my patients achieve healing in a variety of different conditions. Witnessing the transformative impact of these practices on my patients reinforced my commitment to promoting the idea that healthcare should be a collaborative effort, with practitioners working harmoniously to address all facets of a patient's well-being.

Today, as a licensed acupuncturist and holistic health advocate, I am dedicated to empowering individuals on their path to optimal health and well-being. I firmly believe that everyone deserves a healthcare team that listens, understands, and supports their unique needs, whether it's addressing chronic conditions or enhancing overall vitality. My journey from a college student grappling with health challenges to a practitioner of traditional Chinese Medicine has not only shaped my life but has also instilled in me a deep passion for holistic healing and the importance of individualized, integrative care.
