Auricular Acupuncture
Auricular acupuncture is a type of acupuncture in which the treatment is limited to your ears. This form of acupuncture works in the same way as traditional, full body, acupuncture and is used to normalize the body's function by stimulating specific points.

The theory behind auricular acupuncture is that the ear is viewed as a self-contained microsystem that can affect the whole body. This microsystem connects different parts of the ear to different parts of the body. Because of this, an acupuncturist is able to treat the entire body as though they were doing full body acupuncture even when only needling the ear.

This form of acupuncture is widely used by the military to manage pain when medication is not an option, in hospitals when the full body may not be accessible for treatment, and in national detox programs to help reduce withdrawal symptoms and promote overall wellness.
